Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry
The Library of Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Palacký University is a special library focused on the health care and the medicine. It offers highly specialized selection of monographs, textbooks, lecture notes and journals in print and electronic form and other scholarly services in the particular field of knowledge. The employees offer personal consultations on electronic information resources. In the space of the Library of Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry you can find also collection of books from the Library of Health Sciences.

Changes to opening hours
On Tuesday, 9 June 2026, the library will be closed due to the entrance exams at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
Summer opening hours
15–30 June: Opening hours will be shortened to 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
1 July – 31 August: The library will be closed during the summer break.
1–11 September: Open on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
